GREASE

Since I heard I was coming to Ireland I already knew about the TY musical. It was one of the things I was looking forward the most.
Grease was a really fun experience for me. It was a brilliant opportunity to get to know all my year. Its something that I‘ll never forget. We were all very nervous when we had our first full dress rehearsal to the full 6th classes. The next shows flew by and before we knew it was our last show. The last time performing was nostalgic but we were also very excited to the after party.

The memories will last forever.

SALSA DANCING

The forth of november the spanish class had a salsa dancing class ! I had told the spanish teacher that I enjoy dancing so she invited me to the class. Will is an amazing salsa dancer from cuba and he gave the class. It was a nice experience. I would be happy to do it again !

CHRISTMAS BAZAAR

The 10th of november, My Mexican group and I sale beer lollies that my guardian send from Mexico to help raise money. They all went very fast and we raised lots of money ! It was very enjoyable working in the stand and very busy sometimes. I got to get closer to people in the school. it was a successful night !

CARLINGFORD !

The 22nd of February, my year and I went on a five day trip to carlingford adventure centre for our week of outdoor pursuits. I was really looking forward to this trip to get to know my class better ! As soon as we arrived in carlingford we went to the centre, met with our
instructors and were given our rooms. I was in a room with Esme, Lara, Caitlin, Izzi , Faye and Jen. We got well and had fun. We went out for our day activity. Our routine was the same everyday. We were woken up at eight a.m. We then had breakfast between eight and nine then our morning activity started at 10. Every day we had to walk to sky park. It was about a 15 minute walk to sky park but it was enjoyable. Throughout the week we did activities such as archery, zip topia, communication breakdown,, laser combat and canoeing during the mornings and evenings and at night did activities such as a night hike, circus tricks and communication games in the dark in zip topia. My favourite was the canoeing and the laser combat. We were able to chill after night activities until our bedtime at 11 which was fun. I was very exhausted at the end of the week but it was worth it. I'm so thankful that the teachers took the time to come with us. I think everyone enjoy it.

CATHOLIC SCHOOLS WEEK

Friday 5th of february in honour of Catholics schools week a lady came in to talk to our year. First started off the talk by telling us about her journey of faith and how she became a nunShe told us stories of people who inspired her. She left nunnery and she started working in hospice. It was very interesting
